Pokémon GO: Safari Zone Event 2024 Launches

The Pokémon GO Wild Area 2024 event is dropping soon, and the cynosure of all eyes will probably be the Safari Ball. Yeah, it’s making its grand debut as the seventh ball in the game. Keep reading to find out all about this new event and new Poké Ball in the game.What Is Pokémon GO Safari Ball?If you’ve been a long-time Pokémon fan, you’re probably familiar with Safari Zones from the mainline games. These special areas let you catch rare Pokémon without the need for battling. And that’s exactly what Niantic is recreating with their new Wild Area event.It’s worth noting that Pokémon GO hasn’t added many new types of Poké Balls over the years. The main balls you can use regularly in the game are the standard Poké Ball, Great Ball and Ultra Ball. Then there is the Premier Balls and the rarest ball in the game, the Master Ball.Now, the Wild Area event is set to run globally from November 23rd to November 24th, 2024, ending at 6:15 pm local time. But there’s a catch—any unused Safari Balls will disappear from your item bag once the event wraps up.For the event, the Pokémon GO Safari Ball will be the go-to tool for catching Mighty Pokémon. I wonder what Niantic has in store since they aren’t releasing these balls in Pokémon GO Safari Zone and City Safari events, but instead chose a new event to launch them.The look of the ball hasn’t been fully revealed yet.
