Mark your calendars! Fuecoco, the adorable Fire Croc Pokémon, takes center stage in Pokémon GO's first March Community Day event on March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time). Expect increased Fuecoco spawns, significantly boosting your chances of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco.
Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn—but only within one week of the event! Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song, without any time restrictions.
A special Timed Research is also available, offering a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background. Completing the research further enhances your chances of finding a Shiny Fuecoco! This Timed Research runs until March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).
For an even more rewarding experience, consider purchasing the $2.00 Community Day Special Research ticket. This ticket grants three Fuecoco encounters (each with a Seasonal Special Background), along with the usual Battle Pass and Rare Candies. You can even gift this ticket to a friend who is at least Great Friends with you.

Community Day Classic events bring back beloved Pokémon from past Community Days, like Ralts (featured in August 2019 and January 2025). While the featured Pokémon for the other dates remain a secret for now, the anticipation is building!
The Beloved Buddies event, featuring the debut of Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research with two branching paths: one featuring Candela (Team Valor), and the other, Arlo (Team GO Rocket).
Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. After completing these, choose your path!
Candela's Path rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
Arlo's Path offers similar item rewards, plus a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
