Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)

This in-person event will take place in Los Angeles (Rose Bowl Stadium) and New Taipei City (Metropolitan Park). Inspired by the Unova region from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) offering diverse Unova Pokémon encounters. Shiny Deerling variations will appear depending on habitat and time of day.

Event highlights include:

• Shiny Meloetta: Obtainable via Masterwork Research.
• Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and more: Available through egg hatching.
• Shiny Pikachu (unique hats): Encountered via Field Research.
• Five-Star Raids: Featuring Reshiram and Zekrom.
• Three-Star Raids: Featuring Druddigon.
• One-Star Raids: Featuring Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott (increased shiny rates).

Tickets are available now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei City). Add-on ticket purchases offer extra bonuses. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8, respectively). Booths and team lounges will offer merchandise and relaxation areas.

A global version, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will be held March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration for all trainers.

Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)

This city-wide event will occur in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery!

Event features:

• Special Eevee: Receive an Eevee wearing an explorer hat. Evolving it retains the hat. The Eevee Explorers Expedition earns a second hatted Eevee.
• Special Pokémon: Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, Skiddo, and location-specific encounters.
• Maps and Visors: Provided to aid exploration (visors first-come, first-served).

Tickets are priced at R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong. Add-ons offer extra items and increased shiny encounter rates.
