Niantic recently announced exciting news for Brazilian Pokémon Go players at gamescom latam 2024. A major event is planned for São Paulo in December, promising a city-wide takeover. While specifics remain under wraps, the event's December timeframe is confirmed.
Collaborations with the São Paulo Civil House and shopping centers aim to create a fun and safe experience for attendees. Beyond the major event, Niantic is expanding the in-game experience by partnering with Brazilian city governments to increase the number of PokéStops and Gyms nationwide, ensuring broader accessibility and enjoyment.
The success of Pokémon Go in Brazil, particularly following a price reduction on in-game items leading to a revenue surge, is highlighted. This success is further underscored by the creation of a locally produced video celebrating the game's impact in the country. This positive trajectory makes the upcoming São Paulo event a highly anticipated highlight of 2024 for Brazilian Pokémon Go enthusiasts.
Pokémon Go is available for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases.
