Pokémon Go Tour: Unova's Road to Unova Event Preview: Get Ready for the Main Event!

The excitement is building for Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, a global event running March 1st and 2nd, packed with Unova region content. But before the main event kicks off, players can participate in the "Road to Unova" event, starting February 24th and ending March 1st. This pre-event offers a chance to prepare and earn rewards.

This isn't a new concept; a similar lead-up event was featured in last year's Pokémon Go tour. Road to Unova provides ample time to complete challenges and collect rewards through various gameplay activities, including wild Pokémon encounters, raids, and special research.

A free Tour Pass is automatically granted to all participants. This pass features a progression track where completing tasks earns Tour Points and unlocks bonuses. For an enhanced experience, a Deluxe Tour Pass (optional purchase) offers upgraded rewards, including a Victini encounter.

ytShiny Pokémon enthusiasts will be thrilled by the debut of Shiny Meloetta! Available via a $4.99 Masterwork Research ticket (non-expiring), this special research offers a chance to catch this rare Pokémon. Additional ticket options provide event-exclusive bonuses, such as themed hatch or raid rewards, and unique avatar items.

Here's a heads-up on some Pokémon Go codes for extra goodies! (Codes not included in this preview).

During Road to Unova, players can encounter wild Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, with lucky trainers potentially finding their evolved forms. Raids will feature various Pokémon, including Genesect (with different Drives), Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion. Five-star raids offer a chance to capture Pokémon with special backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White.

Prepare for the main event by downloading Pokémon Go (free) and visiting the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on necessary items.
