Brown lightheartedly mentioned "Pokemon Sleep is out there too," referencing the company's playful April Fool’s parody trailer for the Pokemon Sleep Champion Tournament. However, he made it clear that "at this time there are no plans for Pokemon Pocket to join, but we’re always looking at things."
While The Pokémon Company hasn't explicitly stated the reasons for excluding Pokémon TCG Pocket from the competitive scene, the community has its theories. The game, launched in October 2024, is still in its infancy, having only released two sets to date. This early stage of development could be a contributing factor.
