The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) kicks off with a massive $500,000 prize pool and over 90,000 competitors vying for glory. Open Qualifiers, starting February 13th, provide a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and compete for a coveted spot in the Main Event.
This year's tournament prioritizes amateur talent, offering a unique opportunity for fresh faces to shine against established esports organizations. Teams featuring at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player (Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21) have already advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Upcoming weeks will see intense competition as teams fight for a place in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll face off against the best from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.
Twelve teams will ultimately earn their place in the PMGO Main Event, challenging top professional PUBG Mobile players. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event spots based on their impressive PMGC 2024 performances. Four more will join from regional competitions, including PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.
The Open Qualifiers conclude March 2nd, followed by the Prelims (April 10th-11th) and the Main Event (April 12th-13th). This tournament marks the beginning of a thrilling year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC slated for later in 2025.
