Puella Madoka Magica Magia Exedra (we'll just call it Exedra from now on) has surpassed half a million pre-registrations and is adding a new character: the fan-favorite Ren Isuzu. This 3D turn-based RPG based on the popular anime series is set for release soon.
The pre-registration campaign, while successful, initially only offered bonus materials like wallpapers, not new characters. Therefore, Ren's inclusion is a delightful surprise for fans. Ren Isuzu, a shy yet powerful magical girl, will add another layer to the already compelling cast.
The Dark Side of Magic
It's somewhat paradoxical that Puella Madoka Magica, known for its intelligent and often subversive take on the magical girl trope, has become synonymous with extensive merchandising. However, this is unsurprising given its immense domestic and international popularity.
Magia Exedra's shift to a fully 3D, effects-laden battle system is a notable evolution from the 2D battles seen in previous mobile adaptations. Fans who loved the original anime's animation will find Exedra's visuals equally captivating.
While you eagerly await Exedra's launch, consider exploring our weekly list of top five new mobile games. This curated selection features diverse genres, ensuring there's something for everyone!
