If you're a fan of adorable pups and the thrill of football, you're in for a treat with the newly released game, Pup Champs. This cozy tactical sports puzzle game is now available on Android and comes from Afterburn, a creative studio based in Lodz, Poland. Afterburn is known for their engaging titles like Railbound, Golf Peaks, and inbento.
In Pup Champs, your mission is to outpace and outsmart your opponents. You'll step into the role of a retired coach tasked with guiding a charmingly clumsy team of pups to football glory. The gameplay involves not just managing team formations but also solving a series of cleverly disguised football puzzles. You can start with over 30 puzzles available for free.
If you find yourself hooked, unlocking the full version will set you back $7.99. However, take advantage of the current 33% launch discount, available until June 2nd, to snag it for less. The full game offers more than 130 challenges, progressively introducing more complex mechanics like mud that slows down passes, monkeys that mirror your moves, and bunnies that react to your strategies.
Pup Champs combines strategic planning with the joy of football. The game challenges you to carefully plan your moves, line up the perfect plays, navigate around obstacles, and lead your pups to victory. It’s all about mastering positioning, timing, and creative problem-solving.
What adds an extra layer of charm to Pup Champs is its heartwarming story, delivered through interactive motion comics. This narrative follows the journey and bond between a ragtag team of pups and their dedicated new coach, filled with plenty of touching moments.
So, why wait? Head over to the Google Play Store and try Pup Champs for free. Don't forget to check out the game trailers below to get a glimpse of what awaits you.
