A new era of puzzle RPG action is on the horizon with the exciting announcement from GungHo of Puzzle & Dragons 0, the latest entry in its massively popular series. Pre-registrations are now live for both iOS and Android, so you can secure your spot early.
Set to launch globally in May 2025, Puzzle & Dragons 0 reimagines the iconic formula that has made the franchise a genre-defining favorite for over a decade. With over 90 million downloads worldwide, the original Puzzle & Dragons helped shape the mobile puzzle RPG scene. Now, Puzzle & Dragons 0 introduces fresh ideas while maintaining the core gameplay that fans adore.
You can expect the familiar thrill of matching three or more Orbs to trigger attacks, but with deeper creature-building systems and a more flexible layout. The puzzle mechanics are easy to pick up yet reward skillful play with devastating combo chains, perfect for those who enjoy brainy battles. With both portrait and widescreen options, you can choose your preferred play style.
A standout feature of Puzzle & Dragons 0 is the new Root Tree system. As you explore diverse dungeons and gather Crystals, you'll be able to create and evolve creatures tailored to your strategy. Power them up using Mana earned in battles, then mix and match your favorites into custom teams with unique abilities. This system allows you to build your perfect dream squad.
Puzzle & Dragons recently held a collaboration with the world-famous manga publication Shonen Jump. While you wait for the release, you can also check out this list of the best match-3 games to play on Android.
Puzzle & Dragons 0 will launch in May in over 150 countries with support for 11 languages. It will be free-to-play with optional in-app purchases.
