Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans with the announcement of an exciting collaboration. Now, they've unveiled more details about the eagerly awaited Reverse: 1999 x Assassin's Creed crossover, which will introduce Ezio as a playable character. Partnering with Ubisoft, this crossover will celebrate two beloved entries in the Assassin's Creed series: Assassin's Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released in January showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the iconic Assassin's Creed logo glowing in the distance, setting the stage for what's to come.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full rollout plan for this much-anticipated event is now public. Set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025, this crossover promises more than just Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The event is structured into two distinct phases, each featuring unique Assassin's Creed-themed stories and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will chase cryptic clues through 15th-century Italy.

Phase II shifts the scene to the ancient world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, immersing players in the historical setting of Greece. Fans of the original game will find familiar events as Vertin and her crew navigate through this era.

It’s a Special Crossover

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all global servers are synchronized, ensuring that everyone can access the event content simultaneously. Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players take on the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. Following the storms, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner Sonetto to journey through time, rescuing other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
