The much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 has been officially announced, though details remain scarce. However, insider eXtas1s, renowned for their accurate leaks, has shared intriguing information about the upcoming console. Specifically, they mentioned that the new Nintendo console will feature one of the best-selling fighting games, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, at its launch.
According to eXtas1s, Bandai Namco, the publisher behind this popular title and many other games within the iconic franchise, is a key partner for Nintendo. Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, released in October 2024, has already achieved remarkable success, selling over 3 million copies within just 24 hours of its launch. This impressive sales figure underscores its status as one of Bandai Namco's top-performing games, particularly notable within the arena fighter genre.
Furthermore, eXtas1s hinted that the Nintendo Switch 2 will also see ports of other popular titles, including Tekken 8 and Elden Ring. These releases will further solidify the partnership between Bandai Namco and Nintendo, promising a robust lineup for the new hybrid console.
