Sony Bravia X93L Review by Jaron Schneider:

"The Sony X93L isn’t cheap, but largely earns its price through very good image quality powered by top-tier processing that results in a fantastic gaming experience."

The Sony Bravia XR X93L, launched in March 2023, is the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's range, just below the X95L, which was only available in an 85" size in the US. The X93L employs Mini LED technology, which is exceptional for HDR content. Mini LED uses an array of smaller, more numerous LEDs that can independently turn on and off, enhancing black levels and contrast ratios significantly.

This TV is also a gamer's delight. It features four HDMI ports, with two supporting the HDMI 2.1 specification. HDMI 2.1 allows for 4K output at up to 120Hz refresh rate, ideal for next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. However, the new Switch 2, when docked, will be limited to 60fps in 4K, so HDMI 2.1 isn't necessary for that system.

Android smartphone users will appreciate the integration of Google TV as the smart interface. It's user-friendly, reliable, and allows you to use your Android device as a remote control.
