The LG UltraGear GX790 is a 27-inch marvel with a 2560x1440 resolution (109ppi), a blazing 480Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync compatibility. It features LG's latest generation WOLED panel, which delivers near-instantaneous response times (0.03ms) and true black levels unmatched by any other panel type, including Mini-LED. The GX790 also boasts a 98.5% DCI-P3 color range, HDR True Black 400 certification, and comes factory-calibrated. For connectivity, it includes one DisplayPort 2.1 port (essential for achieving 480Hz), two HDMI 1.4 ports, and two USB 3.0 ports.
Thanks to its OLED panel and super high refresh rate, the GX790 excels in games with fast or twitchy motion, such as shooters. To reach framerates up to 480fps at 2560x1440, ensure your PC is equipped with a suitable video card. Depending on the game, you'll likely need at least a graphics card like the GeForce RTX 4070. Games like Counter-Strike or Fortnite have less demanding requirements than titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
