Hollow Knight: Silksong's Absence from Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live
Geoff Keighley, producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, confirmed the absence of the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong from the event's lineup. This announcement brought disappointment to many fans.
Initial speculation fueled hopes for a Silksong reveal. Keighley's initial Gamescom ONL lineup included a "+ More" section, hinting at unannounced titles. This led many to believe that Silksong, after a prolonged period of silence, might finally receive an update.
However, Keighley later clarified on Twitter (X) that Silksong would not be featured. He stated definitively, "Just to get this out of the way, no Silksong on Tuesday at ONL," while reassuring fans that Team Cherry continues to actively develop the game.
While Silksong news is absent from Gamescom ONL, the event still boasts an impressive lineup including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, MARVEL Rivals, and other exciting titles.
