The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers numerous rewards, but acquiring them presents challenges. One particularly tricky task involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide outlines the process.

Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in locating a broken item. The easiest solution is to intentionally break something. While using the "prank" interaction is an option, it requires specific traits, adding unnecessary complexity. A simpler method involves repeatedly using an item until it breaks.

The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive choice. Repeated use (around a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction, spraying water. This can be done by your Sim or a guest. Once broken, the toilet is ready for repair.

With Handiness at level 2, select the "Repair" option on the broken toilet. After a short time, the repair is complete, resolving the Blast from the Past challenge.
