Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to build excitement for The Sims franchise's 25th anniversary. The event showcased a range of free gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses several bugs, boasts a revamped main menu, and includes performance improvements. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated houses are available immediately in new games, and accessible via the library for existing saves.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will launch. Players can unlock retro-themed items and a complete new set by completing simple challenges.
Furthermore, a new season called "Motherlode" will debut in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Details about this season's content remain undisclosed for now.
