New Pokémon Arrive in Pokémon Sleep: Sneasel and Weavile!

Pokémon fans rejoice! New Pokémon have arrived in Pokémon Sleep, adding excitement to the sleep-based mobile game. As of December 3rd, 2024, Sneasel and its evolution, Weavile, are available to befriend.

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile

These Ice/Dark-type Pokémon (Dark-type only in Pokémon Sleep) can be found in two locations:

  • Snowdrop Tundra: Their primary habitat, reflecting their typing.
  • Greengrass Isle: Conveniently available to all players, regardless of game progress.

Players on different islands can utilize the EZ Travel Ticket to access these locations.

Sleep Types and Evolution

Both Sneasel and Weavile share the "Dozing" sleep type. Maximizing your chances of encountering them requires a Dozing sleep type for the night. Sneasel is easier to find initially, evolving into Weavile with 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, wild Weavile encounters are still necessary for Sleep Research data.

Are They Worth It?

Sneasel's value lies in its berry-gathering abilities (Wiki Berries) and its contribution to "Extra Tasty" dishes. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable addition to your Snowdrop Tundra team.
