Sonic Rumble is gearing up for a pre-release crossover event, bringing together iconic characters from some of Sega's legendary franchises. Starting today, players in regions with the game's soft launch can dive into this exciting crossover, which features beloved figures from Altered Beast, Fantasy Zone, and Super Monkey Ball.
For free, you can claim the classic Werewolf character, inspired by Altered Beast. Meanwhile, subscribers to the Sega Star Event Pass will unlock additional characters, such as the powerful Weredragon from Altered Beast and Opa-Opa, the charming mascot from Fantasy Zone.
Even more character options await in the in-game Ring Shop. Players can purchase Upa-Upa and the mighty Werebear, while the Red Star Ring Shop introduces fan-favorite characters from Super Monkey Ball: AiAi and MeeMee.
This early crossover event is set to run until May 7th, offering fans a sneak peek at what’s to come. While it's unusual to host such events before global release, it signals the beginning of a packed schedule of crossovers and collaborations planned for Sonic Rumble.
