Sonos rarely offers discounts on their popular speakers, so it's a smart move to take advantage of a good deal when it appears. Currently, both Amazon and Walmart are selling the Sonos Arc soundbar for just $599, a significant $300 off its original price. This model, which has been replaced by the new Arc Ultra, seems to be discontinued and is sold out on Sonos' official website. It may only reappear in their Refurbished section.
Originally priced at $899, the Sonos Arc is now available at a 33% discount, bringing the price to $599 at both Amazon and Walmart. As Sonos' flagship soundbar before the introduction of the Arc Ultra, the Arc boasts a premium 45" design with eleven precisely engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers. It supports Dolby Atmos with two dedicated height channels, making it an excellent choice for immersive audio. The Arc is user-friendly, easily pairing with other Sonos devices through the app, and features an ambient light sensor, HDMI eARC, capacitive touch controls, WiFi, and a built-in microphone for voice commands.
Priced at $999 at Sonos, the Arc Ultra, while similar in appearance to the Arc, is 1.5" wider, 0.4" shorter, and 0.4" shallower. However, it's the internal upgrades that set it apart, featuring fourteen speakers, including seven tweeters, six midwoofers, and a new Sound Motion four-motor dual-membrane woofer. This upgrade results in superior bass and enhanced dialogue clarity. Additionally, the Arc Ultra includes Bluetooth, a feature absent in the original Arc.
