Following the Dark Phoenix storyline, Kabam has unveiled a fresh update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing Spider-Woman and the 2025 Eidol Champion, Lumatrix, to the roster. This update brings new quests, special events, and Act 9.2, packed with exciting rewards for players to claim.
Spider-Woman enters The Contest on April 17th, showcasing her web-based powers and spy skills. Lumatrix, a lethal assassin crafted by The Founders, debuts on April 9th, wielding mesmerizing yet deadly abilities.

Lumatrix stands out with light-manipulating powers that conceal a dangerous edge. To recruit Lumatrix, gather Light Essence through Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids, with the event running until June 4th.
The new Spy Games quest, running from March 9th to May 7th, teams Black Widow with Spider-Woman to unravel the mystery behind the Eidols’ arrival. Expect twists, danger, and covert operations as they confront Lumatrix’s deceptive light-based attacks.
Deadpool joins the fun with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed, open from April 25th to May 2nd, where Red Guardian convinces him to offer event currency, crystals, and exclusive bonuses. Following this, the Heart of Fire Sale, from May 7th to 14th, provides opportunities to snag valuable Champions and rewards via Heart of Fire crystals.
This month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, running April 18th to May 2nd, revamps the seven-day supply drop. Hit milestones to earn Poolshields, redeemable during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Daily supply drops, available from April 25th to May 23rd, reward consistent logins with free bonuses.
