Marvel's upcoming Godzilla crossover continues with a thrilling new installment: Godzilla vs. Spider-Man #1! This one-shot special, hitting shelves April 30, 2025, pits the King of the Monsters against the wall-crawling hero in a retro showdown.
This exciting crossover follows the previously released Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four #1 and Godzilla vs. Hulk #1. Godzilla vs. Spider-Man #1 transports readers back to a post-Secret Wars 1980s, where Peter Parker is still grappling with the newly acquired alien symbiote suit. Facing a colossal threat in the form of Toho's classic Godzilla, Spider-Man will need every ounce of his enhanced abilities to protect his city.

The creative team behind this explosive encounter includes writer Joe Kelly (soon to relaunch The Amazing Spider-Man) and artist Nick Bradshaw (known for his work on Wolverine and the X-Men). Bradshaw, along with Lee Garbett and Greg Land, contributes to the cover art.
"The chance to pit Godzilla against Spidey in the '80s was too good to pass up," Kelly shared with IGN. "This comic embraces the absurdity of the concept, capturing the era's energy while giving both iconic characters the respect they deserve. It's a love letter with a monstrous roar!"
While DC Comics recently released Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, Marvel's series focuses on the classic Toho version of Godzilla, offering a unique take on this legendary monster. This release follows the announcement of IDW's Godzilla vs. Los Angeles #1, a charity anthology benefiting wildfire relief efforts.
