The Spring Festival is in full swing in *Marvel Rivals*, bringing a host of free rewards for players to enjoy. The highlight of the Fortune & Colors event is undoubtedly the free outfit for the beloved outlaw, Star-Lord. Here's your guide on how to snag the Star-Lord skin for free in NetEase Games' *Marvel Rivals*.
Similar to the Winter Celebration, the Fortune & Colors event requires players to earn a special in-game currency called Danqing, symbolized by a paintbrush and a container of red paint. The only way to acquire Danqing is by completing event challenges in the new game mode, Clash of Dancing Lions, as well as in Quick Play and Competitive matches.
While the base challenges may vary, the event-specific ones remain constant. Here's a rundown of the Fortune & Colors quests released so far:
Once you've earned Danqing, you can use it to progress through the event pass and unlock various items. To claim the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane skin for free, you'll need to accumulate 900 Danqing. It might seem like a lot, but with the event running until February 14th, there's ample time to complete enough challenges to secure the skin.

For those who aren't keen on grinding but still want to experience the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane skin, there's an alternative. The Clash of Dancing Lions mode, which resembles Rocket League but with a superhero flair, restricts players to using only three characters: Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist. Each of these heroes comes with a Spring Festival skin, allowing players to try them out in this new mode.
If the Clash of Dancing Lions mode wins you over and you decide to add all three skins to your collection, the in-game store offers the Dancing Lions bundle. This bundle includes the Iron Fist Lion’s Gaze skin and the Black Widow Lion’s Heartbeat skin for 2,800 Units, which is just over $20. Considering the individual skins are nearly as expensive, it's a worthwhile deal.
