Unlike many first-party Switch 2 titles, Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighters Edition comes in at a budget-friendly $59.99. This is a welcome relief when compared to other Switch 2 games, some of which, including enhanced versions of original Switch titles, are priced at $69.99 or even $79.99, such as Mario Kart World and Tears of the Kingdom.
It's important to note that some Nintendo Switch 2 games, including this one, come in the form of game-key cards. These cards resemble Switch 2 cartridges, but they don't contain the game itself. Instead, you'll need to insert the card into your Switch 2 to download the game from the eShop. Be prepared for a 50GB download; you might want to consider purchasing a microSD Express card for additional storage.
This edition of Street Fighter 6 includes all the base fighters plus the new characters added over the first two years, giving you a total of 26 fighters and 20 stages. Our team loved the game, giving it a 9/10 in our Street Fighter 6 review: "Street Fighter games have always set the standard for the 2D fighting game genre, but Street Fighter 6 takes it to another level. The Drive System introduces a dynamic layer to the fighting mechanics, providing a Swiss Army knife of options and meter-management decisions from the very start of each round. The starting roster is the best Street Fighter has ever seen, and the online netcode has been impeccable through three betas. Even with the weaker story and slower progression in the single-player World Tour, the game's quality is undeniable. Whether you're new to fighting games or a seasoned veteran, Street Fighter 6 is a must-play."
