The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the focus is usually on the players themselves, let's examine the character choices of the elite.
Following the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data offers a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation, though only one player chose Ryu out of nearly two hundred participants (including eight regional finalists from 24 regions). Even Terry Bogard, the newest addition, was selected by only two players.
Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each favored by 17 players. A significant gap follows, with Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each) forming the next tier. Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected as a main character by seven players.
Capcom Cup 11 will take place in Tokyo this March, with a million-dollar prize awaiting the champion.
