DC Comics announces Superman Unlimited, a new monthly series debuting in May 2025, bringing acclaimed Marvel writer Dan Slott back to DC. Slott, known for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man, She-Hulk, and Fantastic Four, returns to DC after a two-decade Marvel exclusivity, previously contributing to titles like Arkham Asylum: Living Hell and Batman Adventures.
Superman Unlimited pairs Slott with artist Rafael Albuquerque and colorist Marcelo Maiolo. The series introduces a perilous new reality for Superman. A Kryptonite asteroid shower arms Intergang and other foes with Kryptonite-based weapons, forcing Superman to develop new technology and tactics. Simultaneously, Clark Kent faces a transformed Daily Planet, now a global multimedia giant after merging with Morgan Edge's Galaxy Communications.

A 10-page prelude story in DC All In 2025 FCBD Special Edition #1 (May 3, 2025) precedes Superman Unlimited #1's release on May 21, 2025, shortly before James Gunn's Superman film on July 11.
