Love and Deepspace developers address character leaks, offer sneak peek at Sylus
The developers of the sci-fi romance game, Love and Deepspace, are navigating a tricky situation after leaks revealed details about the upcoming love interest, Sylus. The team acknowledged the leaks on Twitter, expressing disappointment that the planned grand introduction was compromised. However, they're turning this setback into an opportunity.
For those unfamiliar, Love and Deepspace combines sci-fi adventure with romance, letting players explore an alien world, battle mysterious enemies, and forge a relationship with their chosen love interest.
Addressing the Leaks
The developers apologized for the premature reveal and explained their desire to make Sylus's first appearance a memorable experience. While upset by the leaks, they're using the situation to offer players an early glimpse of Sylus. Simultaneously, they are working to deliver the intended, special introduction later.
The team has launched an investigation to identify the source of the leak, emphasizing the seriousness of disclosing confidential game information. Players are encouraged to report any further leaks they encounter. Any additional leaks will be promptly removed, and repeated offenders may face consequences.
