Wildlife Studios concluded the 2025 Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault for Tennis Clash, naming Colombia’s Samuel Sanin Ortiz “Sasmis” as the champion. Thousands watched live on YouTube and Twitch, with hundreds more in attendance, as the eighth edition introduced a team format, challenging eight finalists across two squads.

The Tennis Clash event broke from tradition by emphasizing team play, with elite coaches like French tennis icon Marion Bartoli and former ATP top 10 player Gilles Simon guiding the competitors.

Bartoli mentored Hizir Balkanci “Hizir” (TUR), Randy Van Haele “RSMKN” (BEL), Omer Feder “Omer” (ISR), and Anyndia Lestari “Anyndia” (IDN). Simon coached Adjua Boucher “Renapower” (USA), Samuel Sanin Ortiz “Sasmis” (COL), Eugen Mosdir “AreidY” (GER), and Alessandro Bianco “ΔLEX” (ITA).

The finals showcased a gripping battle between Sasmis (COL) and AreidY (GER), with Sasmis dominating 3-1 (7-10, 10-4, 10-7, 10-3).

“Winning the Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault feels incredible,” said Sasmis. “I worked hard to qualify and triumph, and the entire experience, from competing to soaking in Roland-Garros, was unforgettable. I’m thrilled and can’t wait for next year!”

The event also unveiled Naomi Osaka, a four-time Grand Slam champion, as Tennis Clash’s first real-life character.
