Get ready for a historic moment in esports! This month, the first-ever Tesla-exclusive esports tournament will take place, featuring the mobile 4X strategy game, The Battle of Polytopia. Two Tesla owners will compete head-to-head at OWN Valencia, Spain, utilizing their car's onboard entertainment system.
This isn't as surprising as it sounds. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a known fan of The Battle of Polytopia, and the dedicated community of Tesla owners adds an intriguing twist to this unique competition.
Spanish gaming personalities Revol Aimar and BaleGG will host the event, showcasing the game's playability on Tesla's touchscreen interface, which boasts a wide selection of mobile games.
While this might not signal a widespread shift to in-car esports, it's certainly a captivating event. The passionate community of Tesla owners, often likened to exclusive car clubs, adds a unique element to the competition.
We wish the competitors good luck and remind them to ensure their vehicles are fully charged before the tournament begins!
