George R.R. Martin recently announced the upcoming illustrated edition of A Feast for Crows, the fourth book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series to receive this treatment. Illustrated by Jeffrey R. This release marks five years since the last illustrated edition (A Storm of Swords) was published in November 2020. While this illustrated edition is exciting news, fans eagerly awaiting The Winds of Winter may face a prolonged wait. It seems likely that all five illustrated editions will be released before The Winds of Winter sees publication.
