Sometimes names can be deceiving, so when Go Go Wolf! described itself as an idle RPG, I was quite surprised to find that, under the hood, it seems to be more of a bullet heaven! Yes, there's more of Vampire Survivors than AFK Journey about this upcoming release for iOS and Android.

Go Go Wolf! sees you step into the shoes (paws?) of Rang, a girl cursed by a magical tomato to turn into a wolf every full moon. Fortunately, that doesn't seem to have dimmed her enthusiasm, as she now seeks to be the strongest hero in the world!

As you might expect, this is where her werewolf transformation seems to come in useful. While you're mainly hacking and slashing through hordes of enemies as normal, on occasion, the moon will rise, and you'll take on a monstrous wolf form that drastically ups your damage.

Wolfing out

The idle element of Go Go Wolf! is the usual stuff in that you can also let it play out while you're not directly playing it. Otherwise, this seems to be a pretty straightforward, if polished, bullet heaven. You'll be able to customise both Rang's skills and her costumes to build your own look and abilities.

The wolf form also isn't just a simple power up (although it will get you out of many sticky situations), but it also requires you to make strategic use of the elements that can be fitted to it, such as Blood, Forest, Moon and Physical in order to overcome your enemies.
