In early April, T-Mobile introduced two new family plans designed to succeed the Go5G and Go5G Plus offerings. These new plans, "Experience Beyond" and "Experience More," not only retain the advantages of the Go5G plans but also introduce additional benefits such as a 5-year fixed price guarantee, increased mobile hotspot data, and the inclusion of T-Satellite with Starlink for the "Experience Beyond" plan. These plans are priced more competitively, offering a lower monthly rate while packing in more value.
T-Mobile's Experience plans come in two tiers. The "Experience More" plan, which costs $140 per month for three lines with AutoPay (or $185 without), includes the following:
The "Experience Beyond" plan, priced at $180 per month for three lines with AutoPay (or $230 without), offers these features:
For most users, the "Experience More" plan offers great value at $45 per month (with AutoPay), providing unlimited talk, text, and premium 5G and 4G LTE data, along with a 5-year price guarantee and subscriptions to Netflix and Apple TV+. The two-year upgrade cycle is suitable for those who don't need to upgrade their phones annually.
However, if you're an early adopter of smartphone technology, frequently travel, or need to connect additional devices like a tablet or Apple Watch, the "Experience Beyond" plan at $60 per month (with AutoPay) is a compelling choice with its yearly upgrade option and higher international data cap, plus Starlink connectivity.
As part of its Family Freedom initiative, T-Mobile will cover up to $800 per line to help pay off your AT&T and Verizon phones (even if they’re locked) and provide a new smartphone when trading in that device. Families can benefit from deals like four flagship smartphones on Us and four new voice lines for just $100/month on Essentials.
Families can save 20% at T-Mobile vs. AT&T and Verizon.
Not to be confused with your phone's financing plan
T-Mobile's "Experience" plans are postpaid plans without any yearly contract, allowing you to cancel your service at any time. However, if you finance a phone through T-Mobile, you'll need to continue making payments for the agreed-upon term, typically 24 months. Early payoff of the phone could result in forfeiting monthly bill credits offered as discounts. Always read the fine print before entering into any contractual obligation.
