After months of speculation and teasers, Activision has officially released the debut trailer for the highly anticipated remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. Developed by Iron Galaxy, who have stepped in following Vicarious Visions' work on THPS 1+2, this new version promises to thrill fans with enhanced graphics, the introduction of online multiplayer, and a roster of new playable characters including Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome. The trailer gives us a glimpse of reimagined classic locations such as Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all brought to life with cutting-edge technology. It also includes a side-by-side comparison that showcases the significant graphical improvements over the original versions.
The game will feature iconic skaters like Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen, although it appears that Bam Margera won't be part of the lineup. Those opting for the Digital Deluxe edition will have the unique opportunity to play as Doom Slayer and Revenant. The developers have also committed to reviving part of the original soundtrack, featuring hits from Motorhead, Gang Starr, and CKY, enhancing the nostalgic feel of the game.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 will hit the shelves on July 11, available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-order customers can look forward to a demo in June and early access to the full game three days ahead of the official release date.
