Not done collecting all the cards from the Celestial Guardians Expansion in Pokémon TCG Pocket, which was released just three weeks ago? Well, get ready for more action! The next expansion, Extradimensional Crisis, is set to launch on May 29, and it's bringing in some unique and intriguing characters. This expansion focuses on the bizarre Ultra Beasts and the enigmatic chimera Pokémon, Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis introduces the Ultra Beasts, those peculiar alien-like creatures that played a significant role in Pokémon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. Confirmed cards in this set include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Alongside these, you'll find more Alola Pokémon to complement those introduced in Celestial Guardians. With Type: Null making an appearance, it's highly likely that its evolution, Silvally, will be featured as well.
With each new expansion comes fresh cosmetics to enhance your collection. Starting May 29, you can snag an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover in exchange for shop tickets. Additionally, from June 11, you'll be able to purchase a floral display board with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event.
Since its launch last year, Pokémon TCG Pocket has been rolling out expansions at a brisk pace. Although Extradimensional Crisis is classified as a minor booster expansion, featuring just one booster pack type, it's quickly following the previous releases. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller expansion, joining the ranks of Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, none of these expansions have been phased out, and all remain accessible in the game... for now.
