Ubisoft's next big release, Assassin's Creed Shadows, arrives next Thursday, and its performance could significantly impact the company's future. A new video, curiously labeled a "TV commercial," was recently uploaded to Ubisoft's official YouTube channel. While the video itself is undeniably high-quality—smooth, cinematic, and visually impressive—its placement raises eyebrows. Why release a TV advertisement on YouTube? This unconventional approach, while not inherently negative, doesn't exactly scream confidence in the game's launch.
However, speculation aside, the video effectively highlights the distinct gameplay and fighting styles of the two protagonists. The depiction of Japan is breathtaking, but a one-minute cinematic can only offer a limited glimpse. Ultimately, the true measure of Assassin's Creed Shadows will be revealed upon its release.
