It's always thrilling to witness developers venture into new genres, and Azra Games is no exception. Founded by Mark Otero, a key figure behind the acclaimed Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, the studio's debut project, UnGodly, marks a significant departure from its predecessors.
UnGodly, still in the development phase, offers glimpses into its dark fantasy RPG setting, a world of brutal sword and sorcery torn apart by a mysterious force. In this bleak landscape, players will guide heroes who are far from solitary in their quest. The game emphasizes teamwork, requiring players to make critical real-time strategy decisions during combat. Beyond the battlefield, the innovative Affinity System fosters emotional bonds between party members, unlocking unique storylines and deepening the narrative experience.
Dark and darkestUnGodly is not for the faint-hearted. Azra Games has promised a highly visceral experience, both emotionally and in terms of gameplay. For fans seeking an action-driven RPG that diverges significantly from Galaxy of Heroes, UnGodly offers a fresh and intense universe to explore.
The dark fantasy genre continues to expand, drawing inspiration from iconic works like Berserk and Game of Thrones. UnGodly is slated for a winter 2025 release, with a comprehensive reveal expected this fall, giving us a deeper insight into what awaits.
While awaiting UnGodly's full reveal and eventual launch, why not explore our curated list of the top 25 best RPGs for iOS and Android? From casual arcade action to grim, gritty fantasy adventures, there's something to keep you engaged until UnGodly arrives.
