Dadish Creator Reveals New Game Dunkadillo

Thomas K. Young, creator of indie hits like Dadish, Be Brave, Barb, and Super Fowlst, introduces his latest platforming adventure - Dunkadillo, launching soon on Android. This quirky title blends basketball mechanics with unusual armadillo physics.

Game Concept

Ever imagined a basketball that's also an armadillo? If this peculiar combination sparks your interest, Dunkadillo delivers exactly that experience. Players control Dill, an armadillo whose ordinary day turns chaotic when a mysterious tentacle kidnaps his best friend Pickle.

Dill possesses unique abilities - he can curl into a perfect sphere and rebound off surfaces with basketball-like precision. His rolling skills serve dual purposes: navigating tricky terrain and spectacularly dunking through hoops.

The Android version features 50 inventive levels filled with bizarre obstacles including explosive bees, distracted porcupines, and excessively affectionate frogs. Collectible trading cards hidden throughout the game unlock 10 bonus characters from Young's previous titles.

Players will face five challenging boss encounters, plus confront a massive surprise rabbit antagonist. Get your first look at Dunkadillo's Android gameplay below.

Release Details

Dunkadillo launches September 9, 2025 on Nintendo Switch and Steam priced at $9.99. The mobile versions (Android/iOS) will offer free-to-play access supported by advertisements.

While the Play Store listing isn't yet available, fans can preview the game's distinctive art style and development insights on the official website.
