Choose between two powerful forms: the Single Strike or the Rapid Strike style, each unlocked through different battle challenges.
To evolve Kubfu into the Single Strike Urshifu, make Kubfu your buddy and conquer 30 Dark-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. If you're aiming for the Rapid Strike Urshifu during Final Strike: GO Battle Week, take on 30 Water-type Pokémon instead. This final week is your chance to witness your determined little bear reach its full potential.
Don't miss out on the Special Research that continues the engaging Seasonal storyline. Available until June 3rd, 2025, this research will reward you with Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and encounters with themed Pokémon like Charcadet, complete with a special background.
Mark your calendars for May 25th, the Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, witness the debut of Gigantamax Machamp in six-star Max Battles. During this event, trainers will enjoy a host of bonuses, including the need to travel only one-fourth the normal distance to earn Max Particles. The storage cap for Max Particles will increase to 1,600, and all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, yielding 8× Max Particles. Additionally, you'll have the chance to make two extra Special Trades.
Be sure to stock up on Max Mushrooms, which temporarily double the damage of your Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon. You can use multiple mushrooms to extend the timer, although the power boost remains consistent.
