Blizzard recently revealed new character select screen customization options. World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 allows players to set up multiple camps, each customizable with names and unlockable backgrounds.

Now live on the Public Test Realm, Patch 11.1 reveals four new campsites: Ohn'ahran Overlook, Cultists' Quay, Freywold Spring, and Gallagio Grand Gallery, in addition to the original Adventurer's Rest. The Ohn’ahran Overlook (featuring the Ohn’ahran Plains from Dragonflight) is unlocked automatically upon logging in after Patch 11.1. Cultists’ Quay (located in the Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall) is earned through the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. Freywold Spring (Freywold Village) and Gallagio Grand Gallery (Undermine, from the new raid, Liberation of Undermine) are unlocked by completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.

These campsites and their unlock methods are accessible within a new tab in the Collections pane, allowing players to preview and unlock them easily. The character select screen now features a dedicated campsite tab, enabling players to choose a campsite or randomize their selection from favorites.

This character selection screen customization builds upon the Warbands system from World of Warcraft: The War Within, demonstrating Blizzard's commitment to expanding this feature.
