If you've been eagerly awaiting Warframe's next narrative chapter, your wait is over—Warframe: 1999 has launched, bringing with it four new mission types and a host of intriguing developments. Dive into the single-player Quest or meet the 59th Warframe, Cyte-09, among other new additions.
In this latest update, you'll journey back to an alternate 1999, fighting to defend the city of Höllvania from the Scaldra army and the Techrot infestation. The 59th Warframe, Cyte-09, offers unique abilities such as seeing through walls to target unsuspecting enemies. You can also experiment with the new assault rifle, Reconifex, and the secondary pistol, Vesper 77.
These features are part of the new Höllvania City environment missions. Whether you're racing through relays with friends and foes in the PvPvE Faceoff mode or protecting the Hell-Scrubbers from Techrot corruption in Hell-Scrub, there's plenty to explore.

According to Rebecca Ford, Creative Director, "Our venture into the ‘what if’ Y2K scenario of 1999 has been a passion project for so many of us. We’ve done everything we can to pack this update with romance, music, action, and, most importantly, core Warframe gameplay."
Additionally, Warframe is collaborating with Balatro for a chaotic deckbuilding experience in the Friends of Jimbo 3 update, promising more mayhem for fans.
