A heartwarming Reddit initiative, "Can't afford the game? Let me help," showcased the generosity of the gaming community. User verdantsf, inspired by past kindness, began by gifting five copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, followed by another five after an overwhelming response. Inspired by verdantsf's kindness, roughly 30 more Reddit users followed suit, purchasing additional copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for those less fortunate. Warhorse Studios, the game's developer, took notice and contributed a collector's edition to verdantsf and additional copies for further giveaways.
"The developers are amazing. Thank you for the collector’s edition!" verdantsf exclaimed, also thanking the subreddit moderators for cultivating such a supportive community.
Reflecting on the success, verdantsf stated, "It's incredible to see so many community members coming together to support each other in challenging times. A big thank you to the 30 people who bought KCD2 for others. Teamwork makes the dream work!"
With an estimated collective spending of over $2,000 on gifting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, this extraordinary display of community spirit, amplified by Warhorse Studios' support, underscores the power of goodwill within the gaming world—a truly inspiring example of human kindness.
