Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Purgatory brings the World of Darkness to mobile devices. Players assume the role of Samira, an Afghan refugee grappling with a new life as a werewolf. This latest title from Different Tales, available now on PC, consoles, and iOS, challenges players to confront their inner beast and the horrors – both supernatural and human – that await.
This mobile adaptation of the White Wolf RPG series, known for its predecessor Vampire: The Masquerade, focuses on the struggle with inner savagery rather than the vampire's loss of humanity. Samira's journey, fleeing her homeland and dealing with the complexities of her werewolf existence, offers players a narrative-driven RPG experience. The choices made will determine her path, the mysteries she uncovers, and her ultimate fate.
Purgatory blends narrative gameplay with RPG mechanics, allowing players to explore two distinct storylines and utilize their werewolf abilities. Fans of the tabletop RPG will find familiar mechanics integrated into the mobile experience.
