This guide details the "The Last Knight" side quest in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves region. This quest, while less grand than the main storyline, offers a unique perspective on life outside Ragunna City and rewarding prizes.
The Last Knight is unlocked after completing Chapter 2 of the main storyline (specifically, "What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing"). It's recommended to finish the main quest before exploring Rinascita extensively, as many side quests are locked behind Chapter 2, Act 3.
Locate Cosimo in Egla Town, Whisperwind Haven. He's near the first house by the main road, marked by a blue quest marker.
This involves a performance centered around a legendary knight. Defeat the Mad Knight, who appears only at night (18:00 to 06:00). Find him at the town's central pool.
After defeating the Mad Knight, travel to the highest tower and then to Carlow's location (quest marker). Interact with the large purple flower for a teleport to a mimic chest challenge. The first three chests are genuine. In the next set, only the second chest (middle-left) is real. Defeat the mimics after opening the correct chest.
Follow quest markers to the second and third locations visited by the "legendary" knight, interacting with NPCs along the way.
After speaking with Mr. Millkeeper, follow the scent to a unique Chop Chop battle. A Questless Knight Echo is highly recommended for this fight, allowing for parries and stuns.
Return to Egla Town during the day and find Carlow in a town plaza. He'll be challenged by knights, leading to a pivotal moment where he renounces the fantasy and embraces his role as a protector. The quest concludes after Carlow accepts the duel. You'll receive Union XP, Astrites, and other resources.
