Rinascita presents numerous challenges, including intricate Morph Painting puzzles. These puzzles appear in two forms: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Restoring Morph Paintings is a relatively simple process, rewarding players with valuable resources like Astrites. This guide outlines the mechanics, locations, and solutions to these puzzles.
Restoration involves correctly placing paintings on designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator utility to position it. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator, but you can manually select it using Tab or the D-Pad Left.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in Resounding Rise (one of the three Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls towers), requires the following steps (using the central painting as a reference):
Upon completion, a chest appears, allowing quest progression.
Located within the "Trial of Wisdom" (part of the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle in Thessaleo Fells), this puzzle demands arranging paintings chronologically from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
A simple verification method: a correctly placed painting's frame will illuminate. This visual cue provides a quick solution verification.
