Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The month of January promises an exciting mix of new releases and returning favorites for subscribers.

New Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2025:

Microsoft officially announced seven new games joining the service, starting with Road 96 available now (January 7th) across all tiers. This title returns to Game Pass after a previous stint. The remaining six games arrive later in the month:

• Road 96 (Available January 7th - All tiers)
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview - January 8th - Standard & higher tiers)
• My Time at Sandrock (January 8th - Standard & higher tiers)
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders (January 8th - Standard & higher tiers)
• Rolling Hills (January 8th - Standard & higher tiers)
• UFC 5 (January 14th - Ultimate tier only)
• Diablo (January 14th - Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers)

Noteworthy is the tier exclusivity for Diablo and UFC 5. Diablo is limited to Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while UFC 5 is an Ultimate-only addition. The rest of the lineup is accessible with a standard subscription.

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Microsoft also confirmed the departure of six titles on January 15th:

• Escape Academy
• Exoprimal
• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain
