Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection Brings Classic Games to Modern Platforms
Konami is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game with the release of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and Steam. This nostalgic package will feature a selection of classic Yu-Gi-Oh! titles originally released on Game Boy systems.
The initial lineup includes:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
While these games predate many modern features, Konami is enhancing the experience. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will add online battle support, save/load functionality, and online co-op where applicable. Further quality-of-life improvements, including customizable button layouts and background settings, are also planned.
