The recent Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links livestream revealed the addition of Yudias Velgear, a powerful character from Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, along with a selection of new cards. The update also features Go Rush!! themed environments and opponents for the single-player mode. A key addition is the introduction of Fusion Summoning, mirroring the anime's mechanics. This allows players to send two face-up monsters to the graveyard to summon a specific Fusion Monster. Two new card packs (Boxes) and Structure Decks will also be released.
This update significantly enhances personalization options. Players can now customize their home screen with various character poses and deck background displays.
The most significant addition is the "Chronicle Card" feature. This allows for extensive card customization, enabling players to alter card art, font colors, and borders, effectively creating unique, personalized versions of their favorite cards for a fee. A personal stamp and a win/loss/usage counter can also be added to each Chronicle Card.
