May 12,2025 Author: Benjamin

In the gripping cooperative horror world of *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter a variety of mischievous and dangerous creatures that make every mission a tense and unpredictable challenge. As you explore abandoned locations in search of valuables, you must be prepared to face terrifying monsters that are determined to halt your progress to the next level.

Each monster in *R.E.P.O.* comes with its own unique set of abilities, behaviors, and attacks, demanding that you adapt your strategies to ensure your team's safe return to the truck. Some monsters are stealthy, stalking you in silence before they strike, while others are more boisterous, making it impossible to hide. Yet, even these loud monsters pose a threat, as some are attracted to sound, pushing players to move quietly. Conversely, others rely solely on sight, making it crucial to keep them in your line of sight to survive.

With such a diverse array of monsters, it's essential to distinguish between those that are merely a nuisance and those that pose a significant threat. Knowledge is key in survival games like *R.E.P.O.*—understanding each monster's behavior and damage potential can significantly improve your chances of survival.

MonsterTierDescription
Apex Predator (Duck)1Avoid touching it, but it can serve as a defense against the Huntsman if timed correctly.
Gnomes1They inflict minimal damage and are easy to eliminate.
Animal1Individually, they cause little harm and can be picked up easily. They can also destroy Gnomes they encounter.
Hidden1Can transport you back to the truck or into a monster's path, but doesn't cause direct damage.
Shadow Child1Remains harmless as long as you avoid looking at it.
Spewer1Once attached, it can be utilized against other monsters without harming you.
Bowtie2Slow-moving unless provoked, its breath can cause damage, but it's easy to evade.
Peeper2Inflicts minor damage when eye contact is made, but can become troublesome if other monsters are nearby.
Chef2Can collide and kill each other. Staying elevated keeps you safe from them.
Bangers2You have a 10-second window to escape once their dynamite ignites—dangerous only if caught in the blast.
Huntsman3Tracks players by sound—silence is your ally (and the duck can't betray your position). A gunshot could end your game.
Rugrat3Extremely strong, capable of killing by hurling objects. A vase can be lethal to low-level players.
Upscream3Similar to Animal but deals significantly more damage. Multiple spawns can lead to a quick demise.
Mentalist3Poor vision but acute hearing, making it possible to hide. Each hit deals 50 damage, and they can spawn in groups.
Trudge3Extremely slow and noisy, but deadly if it catches you, even with health upgrades.
Reaper4Slow until you're spotted, then accelerates. You can hear it coming, but without health upgrades, it's deadly in seconds.
Clown4Charges upon sighting you with two lethal attacks: a kick and a laser.
Robe4Silent and often sees you first. Can maneuver under furniture to reach you and is deadly once it catches up.
Headman4Relentlessly pursues you, with each bite inflicting 50 damage.
