For a limited time, Best Buy is offering an unbeatable deal on the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless gaming headset for PC, PS4, and PlayStation 5 at just $139.99. This represents a staggering 50% off its original price of $280, and it's even $50 less than the price during SteelSeries' Easter Sale. The Arctis Pro is a premium SteelSeries model, known as their flagship before the Arctis Nova Pro took over, and it's one of only two headsets in their lineup with swappable batteries.

The Arctis Pro was SteelSeries' top-tier gaming headset until the release of the Arctis Nova Pro. It offers unique features such as a standalone base station equipped with a volume knob and an OLED display, the ability to connect via Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi simultaneously, and the standout feature of **hot-swappable batteries**. This allows for uninterrupted wireless gaming by swapping batteries without downtime. The package includes two batteries: one for use and one for charging in the base station.

The build quality of the Arctis Pro is exceptional. It features a lightweight steel and aluminum alloy headband, and the suspension headstrap ensures comfort during extended gaming sessions. The ear cushions are made of AirWeave performance fabric, similar to that on the newer Arctis Nova Pro. The ClearCast boom microphone can be retracted when not in use. With premium 40mm speaker drivers and high-density neodymium magnets, the audio quality supports hi-res sound up to 40,000Hz.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Review by Matt Elliot

"The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless offers premium build quality, a comfortable design, and excellent sound. The innovative battery-swapping system ensures you're never without power. While its sound is impressive, the wired Arctis Pro + GameDAC might edge it out in performance, being both comfortable and $70 cheaper. Alternatively, the wireless Arctis 7 provides a budget-friendly option at less than half the price."

The Arctis Pro was succeeded by the Arctis Nova Pro in 2022, available at a current best price of $270 on Amazon. Although the Nova Pro boasts significant enhancements like active noise cancellation and USB Type-C charging, it's not worth nearly double the price of the Arctis Pro.
