Blizzard's handling of the Overwatch 2 Cyber DJ skin has ignited another controversy. Initially sold for $19.99, the skin was unexpectedly offered for free a day later to Twitch viewers who watched a one-hour broadcast on February 12th.
This sparked considerable backlash from players who had already purchased the skin, leading to widespread calls for refunds. While the skin has been removed from the in-game store, Blizzard has yet to address the refund requests. This isn't the first time Blizzard has faced criticism for selling cosmetic items and later offering them free through promotions.

The announcement aims to reinvigorate player interest and address concerns about the game's future.
